Students keep an art notebook. Each class begins with art history. They record the artists name, title of the art work, date and draw a quick sketch to remind them of what it looked like.

The art teacher does a quick sketch on the board to nudge them in the right direction. Students also put vocabulary words, and revelent information in their art notebooks. They begin keeping the notebook in first grade. |
