SCROLL DOWN

This pitcher is about eight inches tall. It is made of multiple pieces: the handle, two hemispheres for the belly, a funnel form for the spout. It has been fired once or bisqued. It could be decorated with patterns or images with underglaze or glazed with just one color.

You can see a fantastic “ewer” ( pitcher ) at The Metropolitain Museum of Art in New York City, New York, USA @ www.metmuseum.org
