SKATING BLACK CAT PLATE

The Skating Black Cat Plate was inspired by a black cat we saw chasing a bird out on an frozen pond. It was kind of like watching “Peter and the Wolf.” The cat did not anticipate the ice. Anyone who has ever been ice skating, knows the helpless feeling of loosing your balance to the forces of nature. We took some artictic license with the candy cane and fishing hut.
