But...was the glaze still good ? or to what degree, if any,
was it affected by the dreaded scum ?
We had to take a day and run a test on a small pot. We had to be
sure we were not going to ruin a whole load of
finished work on a glaze we were not sure of.
Voila !
The glaze was okay and we proceeded.
The test pot was delegated to the garden.
If we learned any thing; it may be to put the glaze into air
tight buckets in between glazing sessions. OR
Maybe, to periodically, mix the glaze even if we are not
going to use it in between glazing sessions. OR
Since there was little consequence; we probably, will not do
any thing.
