My wareboards are part of a drying and storage system.
My wareboards,

are all the same size.
18 x 27 1/ 2 inches
[ 46 cm x 70 cm ]
Standard american newspaper is 23 x 27 1/ 2 inches.
You just have to make one fold to use most of a sheet of newspaper.
Any thckness of plywood will do. [ 3/ 8 to 3/ 4 inch; 1 to 2 cm ]
If you want to paint the wareboards; only paint one side.
It is often an advantage to utilize the absorbant qualities of unpainted plywood.
If you are lucky enough to be just starting your own studio;
please, consider coordinating your storage and drying systems.
It is not expensive.
You merely have to be

persistant, consistant and consciencious.
